Places to Take Your Take-Out
Several restaurants near us offer lakeside dining, but if you’d rather remain more socially distanced, why not order take out and enjoy it somewhere else along the lake? Lake Musconetcong is absolutely gorgeous this time of year and offers a stunning backdrop for a romantic evening enjoying your favorite food.
Another idea is to grab your provisions and wander the grounds of the historic Waterloo Village in Allamuchy Mountain State Park. Find a picnic spot and savor your meal while taking in the storied history of the village. After your meal, you can walk a trail, ride a bike, or even do some rock climbing! Keep in mind that no alcohol may be consumed on NJ State Park property, so keep that in mind when making your plans.
Don’t forget that you can bring your meal back to our inn as well! Our property includes a stunning garden with a koi pond, waterfall, and gazebo with ample areas to enjoy a meal. If outdoor dining doesn’t appeal to you, you can always enjoy it in your room too!
